Tanner’s Travels

Happy to say we’ve picked up a fellow wanderlust explorer!

Who in the heck would have thought that just a year after kicking cancers a** for the SECOND time-he would be climbing up the side of a mountain!!!! I won’t get too sappy but how freaking cool! Dad, you didn’t know it but the entire time I was in awe of you trudging up that mountain side. I never would have thought today would happen especially after seeing you on some of your worst days. God is Good! I am so happy I got to hang onto you so I didn’t fly away on top of that mountain.

Tanner expired half way up. But Anthony was up for the challenge. What’s a hike up the side of the mountain if you don’t have to carry 30lbs!

Stone Mountain is the most visited state park in Georgia. It’s a beautiful area. Lots of trails and things for families to do together. If the south didn’t have a huge arctic storm coming we probably would have stayed a little longer to enjoy the park.
