Yes that is snow!

Well we planned to go south and visit the gulf for a bit but Mother Nature decided otherwise for us. We ended up stuck in Montgomery Alabama for a couple days. But we made the most of it!

We went and visited Martin Luther King Jr’s Family home on his birthday! How cool!! Sometimes it gives me chills when I stand in places I know someone who was so influential once stood. The south sometimes surprises me. Maybe we missed the celebration or maybe a celebration was happening else where. But for someone so special to not have a block party or a celebration of life happening on his BIRTHDAY. At such an important historical site boggled my mind. We stopped mid day and maybe there was a few cars stopping to take pictures but nothing else. In our hearts we were celebrating him and felt honored to be able to see his birthplace. ♥️

The street had so much history. Even got to see the Harris house where at one point they housed the freedom riders during riots! So much more history happened in that house too.

And last stop before the snow came was the Nat King Cole mural. There is a really neat photo scan and it takes you to where you can listen/watch a video of him singing his most famous. “Unforgettable”

Photo cred to Anthony on this one.

Till next time. We love you all. Thanks for coming along. – The Miller Family

Hopefully all of the snow has melted now. Hard to make out what’s in the snow with the camper. Is that Bubba? How neat to be standing on such a inspiring historical step. Nat King Cole is one of Grandad’s favorite singer. Love you Bubba💙
