1–2 minutes

Aside from visiting Shenandoah National Park and Luray VA. We really didn’t do much this trip. We’ve decided every time papa comes he brings us the Ohio weather. It was snow last time. Now this time it was rain and colder weather. Except of course the last day he was here. Then it was clear blue skies.

The bell tower that never rang lol

Mother’s Day breakfast.

Went for a Mother’s Day bike ride on the high bridge trail.

This bridge use to be a train passage way that transported goods for the civil war. The columns for the railway underneath were eventually turned into this bridge for people to pass on.

Stopped for a picnic at the park to end Mother’s Day.

Took papa to “Amazement Square” children’s museum in downtown Lynchburg.

Not sure who had more fun.

Lots of mornings outside having coffee.

Daily dog walking

This is where Lee surrendered his army to Grant. Beginning the end of the Civil War.

Papa got to try out the paddleboards

Took papa to the natural bridge.

It was extremely unenjoyable for me. Huge snakes on the trail and extra large spiders everywhere you looked. ( black snake in the tree )

Yep. A real great time. Then to top it off we went to the playground and got covered in ticks.

Tanner had a good time though!

Mother Nature.

Other than that we had lots of fun days building towers and hanging out with papa!

update: after posting this I realized maybe we did do a lot while he visited.

Till next time. Thanks for coming along. We love you all! -The Millers.
