“Virginia is for lovers”

Sorry for such the delay in posts, we’ve been busy -ya know livin’

You’ve noticed we’ve been to Virginia! Lynchburg to be exact! So here’s the update on my last assignment.

Lynchburg was a choice we made together and THANK GOODNESS we had a better experience here. To be honest this last year has been a lot of ups and downs. But Virginia was good to us. We needed a better experience with this travel nurse thing and this one really left its mark on me. Mind you I have yet to actually do what the job description is but that’s also the cool part. I’m learning so much along the way… Centra General was wonderful. Surgical trauma unit- with Lauren as the manager- 10/10 recommend the unit I worked on. From the staff to the fellow travel nurses to the management! Everyone was so wonderful. So I’ll post my peace out photo first!

I even got my First Daisy pin!

Side note-Thanks Centra for showing us Travelers you care

I know if ever needed, this is a place I could call home.

Lynchburg was beautiful too! We def. Set out and explored. But Tanners favorite was the Aqua Zoo.

What an absolute neat experience.

The concerned look on Tanners face. Haha

Tanner wasn’t having it with the birds landing on him. But look at the pure happiness in Anthony’s face ♥️

The Mall was the go to place for rainy days.

They even had an indoor bounce house play area.

Lilo and Stitch movie day

It’s nice having some normalcy being out here. We attempted t-ball which Tanner wanted none of that. Even tried karate classes. Again not his Jam. All entirely too chaotic for him. Not sure much was expected from 3year olds.

International festival Lynchburg

Tanner loved the Dragon. Especially because a favorite book around here is “how to catch a dragon.”

This picture absolutely cracks me up. (Anthony’s face) we attended a local fair. Very much felt like the old Mardi Gras days back home.

We did explore the blue ridge parkway which was kind of nice. Got to take Anthony all the way up into the clouds for Father’s Day.

Quite literally in the clouds. The pictures really don’t do these photos much justice. I can’t put into words how it felt to walk in the clouds. The sounds the smells and sights… of it all. Very very surreal.

We’re figuring this whole traveling thing out. To say that it’s been easy is an understatement and to tell everyone we are having a non stop vacation with endless fun and adventures would be a fib. Yes, we are having the time of our lives and yes we take many many adventures. But living on the road this last year has been tough. Mainly because we miss our family back home. We love and miss you all so very much and are so happy you’ve been following us along this journey. On a lighter note – I’ll leave you all with this picture of Tanner.

Thanks for coming along. We love and miss you all. Till next time- The Millers
