That little speck is Anthony- driving through cloudcroft

So we’ve officially taken ourselves out West! Boy did we have some fun ( also some scary, maybe sketchy ) stops on along the way! Here are some highlights!

A Honorable mention that I forgot to post and small day trip we took while in Maryland with Papa -was Philadelphia! we got to see the rocky statue and it just so happened that they were filming the new rocky movie-dad got to shake the actors hand! Pretty cool!!

Stopped in the outer banks to see some wild horses.

Outer banks to see some wild horses

So full disclosure… the wild horses are not really wild horses. They cannot leave the island or surrounding area they live on. It’s a preservation. And in fact visitors are asked to keep the gate that goes into the area closed so wildlife doesn’t get out.

The ranch we stayed on has horses on site but the wild horses come up to the stables to visit. Still very neat to see them. We even saw “wild” cows ! Couldn’t get close to them and didn’t expect to. I mean they’re “wild” we respected the privacy they wanted.

Horse tracks

Visited Mexico beach!

Hands down the best street tacos I’ve ever had!

Stopped at Panama City beach

Panama City beach

Got our Christmas tree in Panama City!

Pit stops along the way!
Rested in Louisiana

Visited San Antonio!

Riverwalk
The Alamo
Made ourselves at Lego Land
West Texas !

For miles upon miles… a whole bunch of nothing in West Texas.

Until we hit some mountains coming into New Mexico !

Carlsbad caverns

The elevator ride down was 750 feet. Roughly 75 stories of a building !!! Insane.

The place is so big they have restrooms and a cafeteria down below.

We chose lunch up top and with some views !

Of course we had to stop in Roswell to check out all the extraterrestrial activities… only did we find out the alien “aircraft” didn’t even fall here. It just became a stop along the way for tourist. Still pretty interesting place to visit.

Followed some alien footsteps

Everything is alien themed even the light poles!

Every chance we see something cool we stop and check it out. bottomless lakes was one of them. It was a beautiful area.

What a Blast we had at White Sands National Park!

We had a Blast making our way over to Arizona!

Putting a wish on the wish tree for the local Christmas light show near us
Milk, cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer!
Christmas morning

Well thats a glimpse of the trip to Arizona!

We love you all and miss you! Thanks for coming along. Till next time- The Miller Family

When Tanner gets a little older you should have him watch Rocky. Give that statue some meaning. So cool for your dad. 🥊🥊
Horses may be fenced but I bet they have never been ridden so they are in fact wild. We went to see them around 2012 with Nicole, Ken, Nanny and Poppie. It was neat to see. 🐎🐎
Great picture of you and Anthony on the beach. I’m assuming that was Myrtle Beach. Cool pictures.
I’ve never seen a surfing Santa in flip flops before 😂
Perfect size and a live tree too. I went on the river walk and the Alamo around 1982/1983 with my Grandmother. It was awesome. Love history. We drove her little class C camper down to New Mexico to visit Skip at the Air Force Base near White sands. The 3 of us went to Carlsbad caverns too.
Truck stop lunches are the best. You know you are traveling the open road when you have those.
Did Roswell stir lots of questions from Tanner 🛸👽
Not everyone can say they were sleeping on sand. So much sand. Awesome place.
    Love the light “Christmas cactus”.
    As always, great adventures.
Love you to the 🌚 around the 🌌back to 🌎 forever ♾️.
