We made it !

Last national park on the east side that we wanted to check off the list before we head west.

Acadia was beautiful.

We were able to get sunrise tickets for Cadillac Mountain.

Some of the first ones to see the sun in America that day.

Sunrise that day was 5:56am it was a chilly one. But it did not disappoint.

What an absolute treasure.

Must of been near nap time. Tanner wasn’t having it for this photo.

This one is better. His little hiking stick
Bass Harbor Head light station

Searching the Tide pools for crabs

Took the scenic route and stopped for lunch.

Did lots and lots of rock climbing.

Pictures never do it justice the magnitude of these rocks were huge.

Hours we spent just climbing around the edge of the island on rocks.

Anthony did have the pleasure of riding his bike around the island and climbing up the “beehive” trail to the top of one of peaks of mt desert.

This photo is are not ours but I wanted to show you what the beehive trail consisted of.
Grates and metal bars along the cliff edges. ( photo credit again not ours)
Views from the top
Sand beach during the day
Sand beach at night

The park rangers did a stargazing show at night time. Pointing out constellations and the Milky Way. We were able to see the Milky Way as clear as day and even saw a huge shooting star!

Again the photos don’t do it justice.

Overall Acadia National park was as beautiful as expected. We came, we saw, we got our passport stamped and now we move along.

The Best view of all

Till next time. We love and miss you all. -The Millers
